August 4th Covid-19 changes

Greetings Northlight Church!

Many of you may already be aware of the Covid-19 regulation changes in the territory on August 4th. Therefore, there will be some changes at our Church services and gatherings. 

These changes will include:

• Masks will no longer be required 
• Social distancing protocols will no longer be required
• Gathering limits will no longer be mandated

We recognize that individuals will have different responses and will make different choices in response to theses changes. I would like to encourage you in three areas:

Firstly, however you are able to, make gathering and engaging with the Church community a priority. I hope this means in-person for many. We will continue live-streaming to provide an alternative connection point for those who choose not to attend in person. 

Secondly, have grace for those around you who have different opinions or responses to our current situation. Our love for each other must transcend our differences if we are to be a true witness to the world of who Jesus is.

Thirdly, please make your decisions prayerfully and wisely doing your best to cast off any fear. Some fear the government, some fear the virus but God is bigger than all and sovereign over all.

I am so appreciative of you! Our Northlight Church Family! I look forward to passionately following Jesus with you in this next season.

Despite the recent rise in cases in the Yukon the official restrictions for faith based services/church meetings have not changed.

We are continuing to hold in-person church meetings according to these guidelines.

We encourage you to attend! When attending, please respect those around you in church by following the guidelines around social distancing, mask use and sanitization.
