Getting to know the Person and the work of the Holy Spirit. The rest of this year will be dedicated to exploring this subject in a sermon series. We will be looking at the times in the Gospels when Jesus taught and spoke about the Holy Spirit. We will also study Paul and other new testament writers teachings on the Holy spirit. Last we will,look in details about the gifts, ministry and fruit of the Spirit. We are excited about this and seek to encourage, build up and equip believers for a passionate christian life.

Billy Graham Evangelical Ministries of Canada will be in whitehorse this fall to stage a two day event in the city. October the 16th and 17th will see many people invited to come and hear Will Graham speak about hope, faith and life. There will be many things happening amongst churches in the city to support this event. the churches in whitehorse are supporting this event and urge many to do the same. We will be starting a round of Life groups in September. if you want to be a part of a home fellowship during the week please contact Pastor Simon. Life groups are a great way to join together for fellowship, prayer, bible study and worship.

On October 8th – 10th we will be live streaming the Open heavens conference at YBF in the sanctuary. We have been blessed by this conference many times and invite anyone who wishes to come for the sessions outlined below.

Sessions will be as follows:

The African Children’s Choir are coming to perform at YBF on the 3rd of August at 10am. They will also be performing at the Arts’c centre later that evening at 7pm. there is no charge for entry to the event @ YBF but a free will offering will be taken. For more details please comment or contact the church directly.
